You can usually find used on ebay for a fairly reasonable price. If you are using commodity PC hardware, you don't need the high end Raritan KVM over IP stuff. I do recommend the units that use CIM adapters, as those have the most flexibility regarding ps/2 vs usb. If you connect to machines with PS/2 ports only, then you can even use the older units that you can get for a song. Or, you can do what I do and put a $5 USB<>PS/2 adapter in the back of your PCs, and use the old reliable units.
