Wayne, Yes, I was. However, I forgot to check that postfix started from /etc/rc.d/rc.local when I rebooted. It hadn't. So I started it manually much later in the day. This is Slackware-13.1 on an ASUS M4A78LT-M LE. When I get this working, and get the loose ends of the house remodeling tied off, I'll install -13.37/64-bit on a new drive and replace the current one. > In my case, Slackware 12.2, evga GeForce GT 430 graphics card, I had to > install the nvidia driver to get to my (new) monitor's native resolution > of 1690 x 1080. I don't recall what video chip is on the Asus motherboard ... I'll go look at the manual. Which says, Integrated ATI Radeon HD 3000 GPU. Supports max memory of 1GB. Supports DVI-D compliant with HDCP with max. resolution 2560 x 1600 (@60Hz). So, it should allow me to select (if it doesn't by default) 1600 x 900. Any thoughts?
