Thanks.
I did a test by just copying all directories and files under the Home
directory to a sSD card ina USB adapter and it seemed to work but hiccupped
on a few duplicate file names and one invalid file name.

This brings up another issue - Should i look at Mint instead of a newer
Ubuntu?

Thanks
JK
