Are you going to use RPM squid? If yes, ang mount point mo sa sdb2 is
/var.

Diba you'll use your linux box for squid caching proxy only? If YES,
ang suggestion ko ganito para hindi na mahirap ang pag-partition.

1. for the primary master SCSI HD
sda1: /boot = 60Mb
sda2: swap = 127Mb
sda3: / = 1.7 Gb
sda4: /usr = for the remaining hardisk space

/ or (root), your configuration files and the files necessary to boot
linux are located there.

/usr, your applications will be installed there.
Also, the squid logs (access, store, cache) will be stored there.

2. for the primary slave SCSI HD
sdb1: swap = 127Mb
sdb2: /cache or /var instead if RPM squid will be installed.

Take note:
Use only 7Gb to 7.5 Gb for your sdb2 cache_dir so that di mahirapan si
squid pag-puno na ang cache_dir. Kailangan may allowance. OK. :)

Medyo napahaba ang suggestion ko.

Any inputs sa mga expert?

HTH.
:)
