All you need to do is specify your isp's mail server in the
"smtp_server" in the pine config file. Check out the online manual. Type
"man pine".
I also like the idea of using pine alone because I want to avoid the
cost of maintaining a mail server on a home desktop computer. I also
like the netscape mail like self reliance.
