Done more reading. Apparently it works best on SiS 630 main boards (SiS is
supporting the work). You can go to X on an SiS board, with absolutely
zero rotating media!! (using the onboard AGP in framebuffer mode, some
main boards also have onboard Ethernet).
Death of the Javastation, perhaps? :)
