Orly wants an SGI... i want a Sun pizzabox for old times sake as well.
not that i'd really do much with it except have fun. a second hand one
would do fine with me. not even thinking of the Ultra series here.
i remember playing with Suns whenever i visited ASTI or the UP CC. also
seeing them at Ateneo made me feel at home. having an Ultra at work was
also an interesting experience, though I couldn't play with it as much as
i wanted. getting it to do what it was supposed to do without any Solaris
training/certification was great fun. wading through their encyclopedic
manuals to find the necessary documentation and getting just the right
information was half the joy of working on it. it's a shame how _some_ of
the "certified" people I've met only go so far in their understanding of
UNIX.
