A month back, we ordered some books worth about $270 including shipping.
UPS called up and said Customs is charging us around P1200+.  But since
books are tax-free, they can file some application form but we need to pay
P400 for that.

Hm.. perhaps Mr. Pascual from the BIR who's also on the list can shed some
light on this?
