Aside from being seemingly more straightforward, SquirrelMail is light. It
also doesn't have as many of the features that IMP has, and this means
that if you didn't need that feature, SquirrelMail is less bloat. I'm not
quite sure if SquirrelMail supports preference and address book storage in
an SQL database, though. I think it uses a plaintext file (but then again
I could be referring to yet another webmail app).
