Jazz. I actually used the Windoze version to convert this Disney MIDI
("someday my prince will come" would you believe..) into a single-note
MIDI usable for Nokia ringtones. And it's quite feature-complete, not
buggy or anything.

If someone as tone-deaf as I am can use it, I'm pretty sure you will
figure it out easily.

I didn't use the Linux version because there is no support for MIDI on my
sound card (Aureal Vortex2 SuperQuad Digital). I don't think the Linux
version supports soft MIDI either. But if you have the right card (read:
Creative SBLive!) you will probably love Jazz.
