It's not in the name, it's in the content. Sure someone can take the name
away, but they can't take the experts away, we'll simply rename and push
on with our own vision. It's not as if we're protecting a brand name,
we're simply trying to do what we do best.

That's very much appreciated, don't get the wrong idea. I'm not
questioning your good intentions, but in my experience PLUG doesn't move
in much the same way (and have the same priorities) as other orgs. Linux
Phils tried before, so did the original board from way back. From what i
experienced, PLUG is exemplary in one area: technical expertise in Linux.
No single group in the country (or even in Asia) can beat us, the
collective PLUG, when it comes to Linux expertise. But turn us into
managers, organizers, or some other non tech work, that's another story...
