Outlook is the sheetz!! rich mail client!! scheduling capability!!  =)

You need MS Exchange, HP OpenMail, or Bynari Email Server to take full
advantage of Outlook, otherwise it's just a run-of-the-mill POP3/IMAP
client with a nice HTML renderer (IE plugin, here we come).

You could try Evolution or Balsa. The former is the reputed GNOME "Outlook
Killer." Haven't tried to Red-Carpet it yet.. last version I tried was
crashy and buggy. Besides I use Pine.  =)
