or if you have a MS SQL Server for your database, then get a suitable driver
for linux, then write your apps in perl, python, php, etc on linux.
or if you're really determined (or a masochist, depending on the amount of
data), you could port all your data to MySQL or Postgres.
or if you're really optimistic (REALLY optimistic) wait for .Net to be
ported to linux.
