If you stick to the default Times and Helvetica fonts, any Postscript
renderer should be capable of printing that correctly. And Adobe Acrobat
Reader *is* a Postscript renderer.
I think your problem is because LaTeX uses Computer Modern as its default
font. You need to have some sort of font mapping between Computer Modern
and Times.
