It's recommended that you put the tripwire database on WORM
media so it can't be tampered.  A cheaper alternative is a
write-protected 3.5" diskette in your floppy drive.  With this
setup, you can regularly run your tripwire check from cron
against your "read-only" copy on the floppy.
