#_ sorry to be soo ignorant, what files are the database?
#_ are these the files:
#_ 1) server.com-local.key
#_ 2) site.key
#_ 3) tw.cfg
#_ 4) tw.pol
#_ 5) twcfg.txt
#_ 6) twinstall.sh
#_ 7) twpol.txt
#_
#_ what else do i have to keep?
The tripwire database is in:
/var/lib/tripwire/<localhost.localdomain>.twb
The tripwire report file is in:
/var/lib/tripwire/report/<localhost.localdomain>-<date>-<time>.twr
These are the main files of tripwire. These are the ones you have to
keep. Not so much the report file because you can generate that with the
--check option anytime. The report is the difference between database and
current state of your system.
