No. The Sun licensing is for Solaris 8. I suspect at least initially
Solaris 9 will not be available for free.

Note if you have an old big Sun box (e.g. SPARCcenter 2000, which uses
XDBUS and SuperSparc, it's non-64 bit) running Solaris 8 on it is gonna be
problematic.
