YES! THAT'S why I'm not a big fan on Linux on SPARC! Finally the point is
made.  =)

Well free Solaris X86 is targetted at Linux. But just like Linux/SPARC
can't compete with Solaris (feature wise) on SPARC, Solaris X86 can't
compete with Linux on X86.

But if you have a SPARC. And with those licensing terms. There's no point
running Linux.

Eh. Installing Solaris is a no-brainer. Pop in the CD, Stop-A, "boot
cdrom" and you're off. No driver problems, nothing else to do, the Solaris
WebStart will even check for the latest patch updates for you.
