I have not used the Palm Dev Studio, which I believe is for Windows. Instead I use prctools+pilrc+pose, which is the freeware tool combination for use under Linux. You actually download the sources and build the tools on your Linux box. You can also download pre-built binaries, but building from source is the least problematic approach. These tools do the following: prctools - the gcc M68K cross compiler that works under i386 Linux. also includes binutils, etc. pilrc - converts text descriptions of resources (gui components) to Palm-usable binaries. pose - the Palm OS emulator. Allows you to run the Palm program you created on your i386 Linux box, using M68K emulation - a truly wonderful program from PalmDev. I have actually produced a scientific calculator program using these tools.
