Hi all! How to pinpoint a certain workstation or IP that is hogging the bandwidth of a LAN? I suspect some workstations especially mobile ones, once infected by these new email viruses and tends to continuously send messages, will slow down the whole network. I am using samba. Is there a tool or solution for this? I have also HP manageable hubs wherein I can cut-off any user in the LAN. I just want to pinpoint on a user and have him/her shot! [:)]
