#1. remote boot hardware #2. KVM (Keyboard-Video-Mouse) switch hardware # #remote reboot hardware is you can reboot any networking or other devices #remotely... #kvm switch is a full keyboard and mouse emulation that you can even #configure cmos settings remotely. #
I don't think we'll be able to afford that type of hardware -- the box is a hodge-podge of donated hardware strapped together by a few Mapua alumni for the Mapua Online! website. But I'm curious about using a KVM to *remotely* configure CMOS settings.. how does that work? Is this type of KVM switch a network devices as well? Something I can connect to from within a network? My lowly Linksys 4-port KVM doesn't do that. :( stay cool. jeff -- -- Jeff Gutierrez Pinoy Ako! May reklamo?
