But I really love to learn how to build my own RPMs based from the source .tar.gz, .tgz, .tar.bz2, and SRPMs. I've heard that "Alien" has the capacity to solve this problem including transport from Debian's .deb to Red Hat's .rpm to Slackware's .tgz and vice versa but I'm not sure if it's safe to use. --- MARVIN T.
