During last Saturday's Linux seminar at APC, Randy said that one of the features of Linux is
FREEDOM FROM LICENSING! I believe that whhat Randy meant is that when you use Linux you get "free licensing" or "freedom from expensive licensing". Linux is copyrighted by Linus Torvalds and is distributed under the licensing terms of the GPL (General Public Liicense). So it is not free from licensing. There is a very strict license that covers its use or, rather, freedom of use. See /usr/src/linux/COPYING for the text of the GPL. PMana _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
