I'm not sure whether I'm parsing that sentence correctly. What I mean is that (e.g.) a Red Hat RPM installed onto Debian via alien will be grossly in violation of Debian policy guidelines about directory locations, naming conventions, interaction with other programs, etc. And similar problems/limitations will arise with other conversions. > Well, I need to re-read the RPM How-To and probably Maximum RPM (babasahin > na naman!).
