Thanks for this posting. I think the USB you mentioned here will work but Palm just wont sync. My Palm is m515 and its USB. My server is supported with USB and modprobe is working ok. My problem is, i think is the logitech cam with USB and Palm USB attached to it. I tried device /dev/ttyUSB0 and /dev/ttyUSB1 and nothing happends. I loaded a different tool in XWindows. The program is USBView. It can see the Palm device and the logitech com. Once I check the configuration of Palm device of USB. Its pointing to a /proc somthing file. Which I think is (strange?) I was assuming it will point to a /dev something file.
