("Proudly Serving My Corporate Masters" by Adam Barr) see

the author mentions that A LOT of Microserfs came from UWaterloo. And that 
Microsoft HR people seem to have a bloated opinion about UWaterloo grads.

It seems inevitable that Microsoft would invest in the "Microsoft Training 
Camp University."
