Thank you Doc for helping remind everyone about this. Like you I am
annoyed by having to go through pages worth of green lines (quotes are
colored this way in my configuration of mutt) just to see... one lousy
"me too" at the bottom or nothing at all (because the lousy "me too" was
put on top).

And people who miss a post or two can always do a quick search in our
archives[1] and see the full context of the thread. The Lurker interface
is pretty good at handling the threads, and if you go to the first
message of a thread you can use the arrow buttons beside the "reply"
link to go through the entire thread. There's even a tree view if you
wish to take one path or the other, instead of going through the thread
in its entirety.
