I realise that this won't be immediately helpful, but:  How to re-enable
their access is going to depend on how it was disabled.  You might want
to do "iptables -l" on the INPUT, OUTPUT, and FORWARD chains to see what
rules are in effect.

Essentially, you're not giving us the information necessary to solve the
problem, undoubtedly because you don't know.  Perhaps you had best
consult the "professionals" who set up your Linux-based router, and get
proper documentation from them for their work.

Again, nowhere near enough information to diagnose the problem.  Is your
SMTP server working at all?  Is it processing local-to-that-host mail,
only?  Some distributions, such as Red Hat, have lately made their SMTP
servers default to processing only host-local mail, unless and until you
configure them otherwise.
