That's stupid. Those people are criminals plain and simple. 90% of home users are using pirated Windoze software. So strictly speaking, they don't have a choice. Instead they want to keep the convenience of their criminally-acquired software, without the legal baggage.
They should wake up. Sure if you use Linux it's less user friendly. But you won't be breaking the law.
