it's got to be a higher percentage than that. i know a lot of home
users (work for a local ISP) and not a single one of them *bought*
their copy of MS-Office. most of them didn't pay for their copy of
windows either, since they got their computers from white box
companies that don't honor their own policies to provide legal
copies of windows to customers (customers won't pay the extra
2,500 or whatever it is for windows, but they insist on an OS,
so the vendors just put some copy of windows on there).
hehe, even for companies that percentage is low. i know of one
*REGIONAL* DTI office that bought one copy of MS-Office (ok,
they paid for one copy) and then installed it on all the PCs
in the office. and they thought they were legal. heh.
i say they deserve all the viruses they get.
