Nope. Around here, I run only Exim, and don't even run an IMAP or POP3 daemon: Instead, I ssh from wherever I am to the MTA box, and read mail from the mail spool using mutt (which runs under GNU screen, so it's running all the time). It's kind of spartan, but Works for Me<tm> and helps me keep a very hard-to-crack security profile. (Not that I'm super-enthusiastic about Exim, other than its superb integration with Mailman. I probably should be running Postfix -- but I'm lazy, and Exim is installed and works fine.) I suspect that all of the above (plus EasyGate Workgroup, http://download.easygate.n-h.com/) are probably miles more reliable and cheaper than MS Exchange Server -- not to mention the lower degree of lock-in -- but have no relevant experience because I'm personally a bit allergic to pointy-hair "integrated" bloatware solutions, especially proprietary ones. I just collect information on them, in order to be able to help people who don't share my prejudice. One thing to note: Since anyone can try a fully-functional version of the SuSE package for US $20 (http://www.suse.com/openexchange/slox_eval_form.html), I'd personally try that one first. All it takes is a cheap disused machine and some of your time. -- Cheers, "Transported to a surreal landscape, a young girl kills the first Rick Moen woman she meets, and then teams up with three complete strangers [EMAIL PROTECTED] to kill again." -- Rick Polito's That TV Guy column, describing the movie _The Wizard of Oz_ _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
