<boggle>  With typically no more than 8 MB total "RAM" (which must be
divided between working RAM and emulated filesystem space), I don't
think either X11 or emacs is in the cards.

My impression is that the uLinux port was intended mostly as a neat
hack, rather than as something to use as an actual work environment.
You have no possibility of protected memory on a Motorola Dragonball
CPU, among other problems.
