Because it's open-source, it can be standardized and customized depending on 
the deployment strategies.

Hope our government becomes the next "open-source", where government funds can 
be transparently audited and confirmed by any capable individual or 
accounting firm, on the web, anytime, from any device (could I have heard 
this from a popular borg OS?).
