I wish I still had a copy, but, quite a few years ago, I sent Metcalfe
feedback on an article where he recommended that people use automated,
GUI traffic-analysis tools (that they would not understand) to chastise
their ISPs for routing problems.  I pointed out that barraging ISPs with
useless and mistaken diagnostic information wasn't a step forward, and
found some amusing way to dramatise the point (which I forget).  He took
the point, for which I give him some credit.
