While Bayanihan may be based on Red Hat 8, I had someop concerns when I installed it...
1. It did not recognize my Ethernet Adapter...Red Hat 8 did 2. When I put in a Red Hat 9.0 CD to install over Bayanihan, it gave me the option to upgrade Red Hat 8 to Red Hat 9 My question is...is all that is changed in the flash screen & the icons? I don't have a problem using a fork distro, but the separation needs to be a little more. I should not have been able to upgrade to Red Hat 9 from it. That being said, I think it is a nice distro and should give people who have not tried Linux an easy way in.
