I'd say that any counter-campaign should briefly (and without rhetoric)
refer to their pattern of doing such things.

That's really the crux of the matter, and fortunately is easy for people
to understand, once you explain it to them in plain words.

Extremely annoying, isn't it?  And disreputable.
