You are the man. Cool.
I started this project with this solution in mind to use RH, Oracle and Dell. I have some issues with the Dell server and RH especially on the PERC4/Di hardware. I was able to install RH7.3 on the Dell PE2600 but I got stuck when I called Oracle they told me I needed RHAS 2.1 to run Oracle and would not even answer my questions unless I installed it in RHAS 2.1 so I ended up buying RHAS 2.1. But then RHAS 2.1 don't have a driver for PERC4/Di because it was a new 320mb/s RAID controller. Ultimately, I dump Oracle and went to MS-SQL hehehehe but I said I am a fool because I went M$. After a year I am back wanting Linux to run Oracle. If I only knew Oracle 9i would run on RH7.3.
I was wanting to move my Lotus Domino running Linux to Oracle Collobaration but it seems my Oracle contacts can not decide if they wanted my account because it not worth millions. I might also end up using Exchange again. hohohoho.
My story is real. Try talking to RH, Dell and Oracle and asked them solution for migration. All things are rosy on the print media but when things get to the actual deployment you will scratch your head and say why did I ever started this Linux project. Well that is just me dahil newbie lang ako. Dahil maraming tao na katulad ko eh we are stuck going for an easy installation-- M$.

pluggers,
Aside from RHAS 2.1 what other commercial Linux Distro can Oracle run on. AS 2.1 with premium support cost around $2500 annually. Is there a cheaper alternative to run Oracle.
we run a lot of oracle 9iAS, 9iDB, 11i and others on RedHat 7.3. just need to install the RH compatibility libraries.
btw, RH7.2 (patched) is the functional equivalent of RH AS 2.1.
