Hello Pluggers I have just used K3B DVD writing software using liteon usb writer on RH9. It turned out fine as I was able to create DVD backup (4.5Gbytes per DVD) flawlessly.
The whole backup on DVD thing is so good that I'm planning to buy a DVD writer. However, I'm planning to buy an internal DVD writer and enclose it in a USB case.
The question is, would it work? Can the system detect it? Have anyone done it here? Specially in Linux (preferably in fedora2).
If it turn out to be bad, I'll just buy a USB-DVD writer. Its just a nice Idea that you can replace the DVD writer with Harddrive if ever I would want to use a harddrive instead.
