I cannot generalize as with the opposite, since the 'opposite' is already a mix of techies and non-techies. Anyway, IMHO, the common non-techie 'opposite' people is not excited with Linux (and the concept of open source), unless the government (or any sector) finds a way to break the Windows monopoly and give Linux a push on _most_ classrooms (and internet cafes).
But that's just me.

Dahil kung hindi natin isasalin, eh di ang mga kagamitan na kailangan ng mga Pilipino upang makipagsabayan sa mga ibang bansa (na karamihan din ng populasyon ay hindi bihasa sa wikang ingles at umaasa rin sa mga software na nakasalin sa kanilang sariling wika), mahuhuli tayo lalo niyan.
