i did not attend the last assembly but i was there when ian was elected as president in UP some 2 or 3 years ago (remember rene torres) iirc we paid P100 for membership or id.
in view of this is my membership still with standing? My suggestion for PLUG is to issue an electronic number ID system something like a linux counter type that only the president or chair of the membership committee can provide and validate. in this case any plug member can put this on their resume and that employers or any customers can validate if the person is a member or not. however there should be a disclosure that this is not a certification e.g. LPI, etc. we dont have to physically bear an i.d. to show to any one that we are a PLUG member. my 2 cents, thad On Tue, 2004-12-21 at 20:06 +0800, Rommel Feria wrote: > To end this enlightening discussion, of course I'll help - you know > that I always do if and when I have the time. :D > > I think the next step is to post the section on Membership so that we > can dissect it and make amendments.
