Hi Sir Zak,

Then this list ought *not* to be just a technical mailing list: it's supposed to be a *user group* list. Therefore it shouldn't just talk of purely (deep) technical matters, M$-bashing crap, or company/distro announcements. People outside the realm of computer science, people who are actually just trying Linux out, should feel welcome here, even when there's a flamewar going on.
What I meant by technical would pertain to things regarding the technical aspects of "using" Linux. If your question pertains to asking how you use Linux, then it would be welcome (or more correctly, "on-topic"). Of course, nothing's stopping anybody from posting the latest chismis or gossip regarding anything under the sun, but that's what the plug-misc list is for.
If you actually read the posts in the previous years and even the more recent ones, the questions pertain to the technical aspects of using Linux. Problems, experiences, and even rants/raves. Even reviews of new stuff regarding Linux and the community are posted here.
So therefore, as meant to be a community tool for linux users, the PLUG mailing list is for users who have questions, answers, problems, experiences, and reviews relating to Linux. It is in no way misleading if you consider that using linux is primarily a technical issue. For opinions and other issues, there's the plug-misc list. ;)
