I have used F2FS for years on my SSD drives. [F2FS ALWAYS benchmarks FASTEST fs] There is an option in mkfs.f2fs -c , that can make use of upto 7 drives as ONE LARGE DRIVE. Have 7 240G [do not have to be same size] as one /dev in one of my large boxes i use archlinux, YMMV
