It's OK. When I get around to inventing portable cold fusion, all our
problems will be solved.
Even traditional old fission would help a whole lot, at least as far
as emissions, but you have to wonder if the amount of heat they'd be
pulling out of those atoms wouldn't, you know, add heat to the system.
My hunch is that the planet will mostly take care of itself. Higher
concentrations of CO2 and more heat makes for a better environment for
algae to grow and soak up that CO2 and heat to make more algae. Not
only that but more heat will mean more water vapor in the air which
will mean, eventually, more water precipitating and thus a better
environment for various plants which will soak up the CO2, heat, and
water.
We also need to let New Orleans go back into the sea, but that's a
whole other issue only sorta related.
