You are definitely mistaken. None of the posts in this thread were hijacked (go back and re-read stuart's instructive comments on the matter). They all show up in Thunderbird in the proper order. Subject line changes are there, but everything is parented properly. Check my screenshot against yours and you'll see what I mean. Something is definitely weird about how Mac Mail is doing the threads. I'm wondering if Apple is ignoring or improperly using the headers to try to thread the messages. Sigh. Apple would be Microsoft if they could. By now, though this insanity probably deserves it's own thread, but hopefully most folks are employing their clients' kill functions to prune the threads of off-topic sub-threads.
