I've got a setup with an Antec Aria case, so I'm thinking I can possibly boot that up using the built-in card reader. Any idea how much space this would take up when extracted to a flash card? I have a 128M on hand, but I can pick up a new card without too much trouble.
I think what you are looking for is the "frugal" installation (no idea what this means). It will basically install the compressed KNOPPIX image to your hd/CF card in read-only mode, with a second partition for persistant write acces (/home and /opt, I think). 128MB could just be enough for this...
