Some of what you are seeing may be old files leftover from other attempts. To be sure you should first delete the old stuff - clean start. 1. slimserver-convert.conf 2. custom-types.conf 3. The Alien directory in Plugins.
The alien-0.98.windows directory in Plugin could have happened with a typo - use the browse button and brose to select the directory in zip wizard - do not type in the path. I am assuming your are running XP and you tried the following steps. 1. Browse using Exploree to the alien-0.98.windows.zip file 2. Right click on the zip file and select the "extract All" 3. At the wizard browse to the c:\Program files\slimserver\server" directory 4. Start extraction 5. It will prompt about Plugins directory - no need to create it. 6. After extraction check that Slimserver-convert.conf and custom-types. fiels are in server and that explorer says there are 21 objects in the Alien directory. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=17938 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
