I have run the script on the slimcd from the shell but with no success.
But if I'm using a DSL LiveCD, I can achieve the operation and have DSL
booting from USB.

So I have tried again running DSL liveCD but choosing the slimCD iso to
copy files from it. No success.
I'm sure it is because the script creates partitions on the USB
pendrive that are too small (around 60Mb when the slimCD iso is 95Mb).
I have looked inside the script but I don't understand anything. I
guess there is just a parameter that must be changed !

Anyway, I have found on the Debian wiki
(http://wiki.debian.org/BootUsb)the step by step procedure to copy
files manually and now it is working !
I have to take a little time to see what files must be saved on the usb
key and how I can automatically mount my HDD on start-up but I'm quite
happy with it.
