Thanks for the feedback... but this just makes no sense at all :-/
Artwork and the call to the browser both use the same method to get the
main URL part (http://yourserver:port) and then unconditionally add some
strings (the path to the document). 

I added a message box which shuld display the URL - just to be sure
it's not the web browser object playing games with us by _not_
displaying the url that was passed to it. What does that box say? What
happens, if you open that URL in your internet explorer or firefox?

What are your settings in SlimRemote? Anything special about your
setup?
