Start delay is really only for Windows and is only there to help the startup of the socketwrapper transcoding chain typically on low end PC systems. It will no really do anything on Linux except change the start time of the stream (i.e. the timecode of the first packet). You have a problem not getting a packet in the middle of streaming. Network loads (e.g. morning and evening) will increase packet response time. This happens to me occassionally but I'm pretty sure it is due to local WLAN (Homelink) having a bad moment. It is possible there is a [problem with stream getting ahead of the stream in the servers - if this is the case then it is a bug in the DASH implementation. Again Start time won't change this behaviour. Any messages especially 4xx (e,g. 404 not available , 403 forbidden etc.) in the log ? Following comments from BBC streaming engineer saying they see 404's being sent but I cannot reproduce this issue but I have found a possible bug. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106409 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
