I run LMS 7.9 (always the latest nightly) on a old Asus EEEBox (Atom
330) with Xubuntu 14.04.01 LTS (not doing an upgrade for now, since I
managed to get a running Google Play Music plugin). I activated Local
Player yesterday, but Squeezelite fails to run. The log says:

There seems to be a problem with the soundcard (cannot find card '0'),
but cat /proc/asound/cards shows:

So ALSA recognizes the onboard audio. It also plays sound, as aplay
